What PropertyPrompt does

PropertyPrompt gives your assistant, Claude or ChatGPT, a 3D model of your home to work on. Send it a floor plan and it builds the rooms, walls, doors and windows to scale in metres. Then ask it to furnish them with real products you can buy, modelled from their published dimensions.

You watch the model change in a viewer in the chat. On propertyprom.pt you can walk through it in the browser or in VR, and share it at its own link if you choose.

Examples

Ask in your own words. These show what PropertyPrompt does with a request.

Here’s the floor plan of my flat. The living room is 4.2 m wide. Create a property from it.
Your assistant reads the plan, works out the scale from the measurement you gave and asks for any it still needs. It creates the property with its rooms, walls, doors and windows, and opens the viewer in the chat so you can see it.
Furnish the living room with a three-seat sofa, a coffee table and a rug from IKEA. Keep a clear path to the balcony door.
Your assistant finds real products, adds each one with its dimensions, price and a link to buy it, and places them in the room. It checks that nothing overlaps and that the path stays clear.
Show me the living room from the doorway. Would a larger rug fit?
Your assistant renders that view in the viewer, looks at the image and answers. If you ask it to change the rug, it swaps the product and renders again to check.
List everything in the bedroom with prices and links.
Your assistant reads the property’s products and gives you a shopping list.
Undo the last change.
Your assistant finds the previous version in the property’s history and restores it. Restoring adds a new version, so nothing is lost.

Getting good results

  • Give at least one real measurement. A plan without one has no scale, and your assistant will ask.
  • Say which entrance is the front door, and mention anything the plan doesn’t show, such as ceiling height or a step.
  • Name a retailer or a budget when you ask for furniture.
  • Work room by room. Smaller requests are faster and easier to check.
  • Product names, prices and links are researched by your assistant and can be out of date. The retailer’s own page is what counts.

The viewer and renders

When a property exists, your assistant opens a live viewer in the chat. Changes appear in it as they are made.

Your assistant can’t see the model on its own. It looks by rendering a view, and a render needs a viewer: the one in the chat, or a property page open on propertyprom.pt in a browser signed in to the same account. If the chat viewer has scrolled out of sight, scroll back to it, or ask your assistant to open a new one.

To walk through your home, open it on propertyprom.pt. It works in the browser and on VR headsets.

History and undo

Each property keeps a history of earlier versions, and your assistant can restore one. Restoring adds a new version rather than deleting the ones after it. Deleting a property removes it from your list.

Sharing

Properties are private to your account. You can make one public with the Share switch on its page at propertyprom.pt, choosing whether visitors see the version you shared or always the latest. Only you can do this, in the browser. Your assistant can never make a property public or private.

Setting up

Add PropertyPrompt to your assistant with this server address:

https://propertyprom.pt/mcp

  • Claude: Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector, or add PropertyPrompt from the connector directory. Then turn it on in a chat from + → Connectors.
  • ChatGPT: Settings → Plugins → Create MCP App, with Developer mode on. Then tag @PropertyPrompt in a chat.

The first time, you sign in or create a PropertyPrompt account and allow your assistant to see and change your properties. The homepage has step-by-step instructions for each assistant on desktop and mobile.

Limits

A Basic account can have five properties at a time. A fair use policy applies to every account; see the Terms. Your assistant tells you when a request goes over a limit.

For administrators

What to know before approving PropertyPrompt for your organisation:

  • Sign-in: OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Each person signs in to their own PropertyPrompt account and approves the connection on a consent screen. Access tokens last an hour and refresh tokens 30 days.
  • Permissions: one connection gives the assistant two permissions, to see the account’s properties and to change them. It reaches only the properties of the account that approved it, never anyone else’s.
  • What the assistant sends: floor plan and property details, product research it has done, and images it imports from a direct download link. PropertyPrompt never receives your chat history and doesn’t ask for it.
  • What the assistant can’t do: make a property public or private, see other accounts, or run code. Each change is validated, must be made against the property’s current version, and is recorded in its history, so recent changes can be undone.
  • Where data lives: on Cloudflare, stored in Western Europe. Properties are private to their account unless its owner makes one public in the browser.
  • Ending access: remove PropertyPrompt from the assistant’s settings. Closing the PropertyPrompt account ends every assistant’s access.

The Privacy policy covers what we store and for how long. Report security issues as described in security.txt.

Help and privacy
